\nUniversit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur (UCA) and IDEX UCA Jedi<\/strong><\/p>\n
A new university for the C\u00f4te d’Azur\u00a0: one of the fundamental objectives of the UCAJEDI<\/sup> initiative of excellence project, submitted in 2015 by the Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d’Azur Community of Universities and Institutions (ComUE), was to create and anchor a new university on the C\u00f4te d’Azur, aiming to become a world-class university in a short space of time, with a strong international influence while maintaining a strong connection with the region. The institutional objective has been achieved: on 26 July 2019, the decree creating the new experimental university, Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d’Azur, was published in the Official Journal and took effect on 1 January 2020, leading to the dissolution of both the ComUE and the University Nice Sophia Antipolis.
